On Saturday the 22nd of February at the 2014 Master Builders WA Bankwest Housing Excellence Awards, Josh’s House won three categories including Waterwise Home, Most Liveable Home and Excellence in Energy Efficiency.
Principal partners Highbury Homes, Solar Dwellings and Josh Byrne & Associates were all on hand to celebrate, as were a number of our project partners including the Water Corporation and Disability Services Commission.
‘It’s great that the Master Builders Association has formally recognised the water and energy efficiency of the Josh’s House project as well as its livability,’ says Josh. ‘To win all three categories that we were finalist in is an absolute thrill. I’d also like to congratulate the team behind the Green Swing project in Victoria Park who took out equal first place for the Energy Efficiency category – it’s a terrific project and well deserved.
